hey everyone, just watched American Psycho for the first time and it was amazing.
i’ve been reading a little more into the ending from older reddit threads but i still have one question. some people think some murders were dreams and others were real. i personally don’t think any were dreams.
regardless, the scene where he kills christie, she runs through the apartment complex banging on all the doors…..why did no one respond or open the doors???
my theory at first was maybe he owned the entire complex to lure more women in and make it less suspicious until i got to the real estate agent scene and that was quickly debunked. which made me question it even more why no one answered the doors or went into the hallway once they heard banging and screaming.
maybe this one was a dream or delusion?
what does everyone think?
