Rachel Weisz’s drunk acting in The Mummy is top notch.

It’s low-hanging fruit to make a post about the movie here but I just rewatched it after a decade plus and it stood out to me. She’s alternately charming, vulnerable and defiant during the course of the scene and her monologue is delivered perfectly 👌

“I….am a LIBRAaaRIAN!”

The way she kinda draws out the middle part of that word is priceless. You can see the exact moment Rick falls in love with her. Brendan Fraser gives this bemused, but slightly dazed smile which I feel represents almost every guy in the audience too lol
