What superhero movie should be the industry gold standard?

Cinemas today truly live in the age of superheroes. But they aren't actually new. We've seen major superheroes in cinemas since at least the 70s.

But looking back at all past superhero movies, and to all those that will be made in the future, which one should be considered the industry's gold standard?

What movie has the right balance of all necessary parts, understands its characters the best and executes its vision the best? In other words, which superhero movie should be the inspiration for future movies to learn from?

All admit that I thought of this question after leaving the new Superman. NO SPOILERS....but I will admit that I still think another should be considered the industry gold standard: Spider-Man 2.

A film so well planned, understood and executed that (according to some I've heard) it basically made it cool to like comics. And over 20 years later, it still holds up so well.

.

But what does other people think should be the gold standard?
