Roger Rabbit / Chinatown: What famous movie scenes are actually a little-known reference/homage to another film?

I’ve watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit a thousand times and I know it’s a homage to noir films, but when I was younger I didn’t really know any of the classics.

I’m watching Chinatown for the first time and I was astonished to see that the opening scene was identical to the Pattycake scene from Roger Rabbit.

In the same vein as finding old samples in new songs, what are some fun homages or references that only avid movie watchers would know?
