Are there any movies where you have fonder memories of the trailer than the film?

For example, even though I love The Iron Giant, I didn’t see it until I was mid teens. But as a kid, I used to watch the trailer a lot because it was on one of my Scooby Doo videotapes, and that trailer with the voiceover was a 10/10. You have the guy sounding like a kindly grandfather doing the voiceover and a highlight reel of the film.

Because it took me another decade to finally get around to the film, the trailer became more a piece of nostalgia for me than the movie itself.

I’m just wondering how many people have similar stories where, as good as the film might be (or not), the trailer actually strikes a chord for you.
