Miracle Mile, 1980s

Anyone remember this? Stumbled on this Anthony Edwards, Mare Winningham oddity last night. It felt like a movie with multiple personalities vying for attention. Goofy love story, gritty realism, political thriller. A lot of weird character choices. It wasn't boring but not sure why it's got a rotten tomatoes score in the 90s.

Any thoughts on this one?
