The movie staples of your life.

What would you say were the most prominent movies over the course of your life so far? Not the best automatically or ones that made you think anything profound. Just ones you were super into and really loved at the time. If you wish you can also give your year of birth to give some more context to your picks and where you were in life.

For example. I was born in 84.

Ghostbusters was the movie I watched the most before the 90s. And why I never turn down Murray (not that anyone should) Post 90s Early childhood probably Teenage mutant ninja turtles. As I was getting closer to 10 I watched Tremors and Night of the Living Dead (1990 remake) multiple times and it got me started as a horror fan big time.

Then nothing really sticks out till the later 90s when I saw LA Confidential and Rushmore. One is a big reason I still go above and beyond to seek out dirty cop movies and another was kind of my first successful intro towards a bit more of the indie scene. Of course I've seen indies and cop movies but these two just were the ones that hit me.

The last big ones on my list is Seven Samurai which I saw as a young adult and got me more into non English movies (not that I was entirely against then at that point) and the last to note that kicked off my silent movie delve was The Cabinet of Dr. Caligarie. submitted by /u/Bobbert84
