one this day 1 year ago, the world lost paul reubens.
for decades, he had entertained us as the lovable goofball pee wee herman. he played the character in live performances, his own tv show, and three feature films. of course, he also played other roles as well. he appeared in movies such as mystery men, the nightmare before christmas, buffy the vampire slayer, flight of the navigator, matilda, and others. he also had roles on television shows such as chowder, tron uprising, legends of tomorrow, and what we do in the shadows. no matter what project he was participating in, he always brought 100 percent to each role he played.
he was also, by all accounts, a really nice guy in his personal life. many who were privileged enough to work with him regarded him as easy to work with and very personable.
one year later, it's still hard to believe that he's really gone. but sadly, it is the truth.
RIP paul reubens. thank you for everything. submitted by /u/herequeerandgreat
